Situated in the village of Wingfield, within the parish of Chalgrave in Bedfordshire, The Plough Inn is a pretty, thatched country pub with a lovely atmosphere, low ceilings, oak beams and an open fire. In the summer, the enclosed garden offers scenic views across open countryside. The building itself is approximately 350 years old and was once a coaching inn - it comes with a resident ghost which like everyone else in the pub is very friendly and doesn't cause any bother.

Being a Fullers public house we sell a good selection of real ales - from London Pride and ESB through to Gales HSB.

The pub has a great menu of home cooked food, mostly traditional classics; or try the chef's specials, they are very tempting. There is also a conservatory available for private hire (up to 24 people).

Being only a short distance from the both M1 and A5, it is easily accessible and well worth the trip. Nearby towns and villages include Toddington, Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Leighton Buzzard so if you're visiting the area why not pay The Plough Inn a visit?
